Terms and conditions

This website is run by Nazim Foundation of India (“NFI”, “we”), a non-profit organisation based in Uttar Pradesh, India. By using the website or donating through it, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our refund and cancellation policy.

• Donations are voluntary gifts. You receive no goods or services in return.
• Online donations are made in Indian rupees through Razorpay, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet. A donation is complete once Razorpay confirms the payment. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• You confirm that the money you give is your own and lawfully earned.
• Online donations are accepted only from Indian citizens. Gifts from foreign citizens or foreign organisations are regulated by the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, so please contact us before giving.

Every gift is recorded against the type of giving you choose and used only for that purpose:

• General donation: Lets us respond to the most urgent need across every programme.
• Zakat: Recorded separately from other gifts and spent only on people eligible to receive zakat — orphans, widows, the poor and people in debt.
• Sadaqah: Voluntary giving that can support any of our programmes, from schooling to medical care.
• Lillah / Imdaad: Charity for the sake of Allah that may be used for buildings, schools and community facilities that zakat cannot fund.

If you choose a project and it is fully funded or cannot go ahead, we use your gift for the closest similar need within the same type of giving. Annual reports and accounts are published on our transparency page as each financial year is audited.

Every successful donation gets an acknowledgement receipt showing its Razorpay payment ID. It appears on screen as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you can download or print it as a PDF.

Donations to Nazim Foundation of India qualify for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act (registration AAETN7127KF20241), subject to its conditions and limits. Form 10BE is issued after the financial year; send us your PAN with your payment ID so that we can include your donation.

We do not sell or ship physical goods, so there is no shipping or delivery. The only thing you receive for a donation is the acknowledgement receipt, delivered online straight after payment.

Donations are not refundable, except for duplicate or mistaken payments reported within 7 days. Our refund and cancellation policy explains how to ask.

Submitting a course registration, membership application, volunteer form or job application does not guarantee admission, membership, placement or employment. Please give accurate information; we may decline applications that are incomplete or false.

The verification tools show records from NFI's registry. Misusing, altering or forging NFI certificates or ID cards is prohibited and may be reported to the authorities.

• Give true information, and share other people's details only with their permission.
• Do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the website, or send spam through its forms.
• Content on this website belongs to NFI unless stated otherwise and may not be reused commercially without our permission. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete or current.
• Razorpay, WhatsApp and the social media sites we link to are run by others, under their own terms.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, Razorpay, network outages or other events outside our control, though we will help you sort them out. If a payment goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to refunding it under our refund policy.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the terms shown when you donate apply to that donation.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Basti, Uttar Pradesh, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
