Transparency & Accountability
Trust Deserves Accountability
At Nazim Foundation of India (NFI), we believe that every contribution entrusted to us carries a responsibility.
Our approach is built on honesty, proper record-keeping, responsible use of funds and accountability. We aim to maintain clear financial and programme records and make relevant information available in accordance with applicable requirements.
How We Maintain Accountability
Proper Financial Records
Donations and other receipts are recorded through our financial and accounting records, with supporting transaction details maintained for accountability.
Purpose-Based Tracking
Where applicable, contributions received for specific purposes such as Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, relief or designated programmes are identified and tracked according to their stated purpose and NFI's applicable policies.
Donation Acknowledgement
Online donations are processed through our payment system and the relevant transaction/payment reference is recorded for reconciliation and acknowledgement.
Secure Payment Processing
Online payments are processed through Razorpay. NFI does not directly handle or store sensitive payment credentials such as card numbers or UPI PINs.
Supporting Documentation
Programme expenses and organisational expenditure are supported by relevant records and documentation, subject to applicable accounting and record-retention requirements.
Responsible Use of Charity
We seek to use charitable funds for their intended charitable purposes while maintaining appropriate administrative and operational controls.
